This policy explains what personal data [Aspect Sound / registered business name] (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. We aim to meet the standard of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); because we are based in Serbia, we also comply with the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection (Zakon o zaštiti podataka o ličnosti).

What we collect and why

When you submit the contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, selected project type, and message. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement. The legal basis is your consent and our taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and (b)). We do not use this information for marketing without separate consent.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that record aggregated, anonymous usage (such as page views and referrers). This does not identify you, sets no cookies, and does not track you across other websites — so no consent banner is required. If we ever introduce tools that set cookies, we will ask for your consent first.

Who processes your data

We share data only with service providers that help us operate this site:

• Netlify — website hosting and contact-form processing. Form submissions are transmitted to and stored by Netlify so we can read and reply to them.
• Our analytics provider — aggregated, anonymous usage statistics only.

These providers may process data outside Serbia or the EU. Where that happens, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We retain contact-form submissions for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting project, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless a longer period is required by law or an ongoing agreement. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@aspectsound.co and we will respond within the statutory time limit. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Serbian Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, or with your local EU supervisory authority.

Data security

This site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard practices.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
